Philippines-TB Initiative in the Private Sector
Phil-TIPS is USAID's new project to strengthen private sector participation in tuberculosis (TB) control and reduce TB prevalence in the Philippines. Phil-TIPS aims to increase the successful diagnosis and treatment of TB patients and achieve a cure rate of at least 85 percent using DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short Course) in the private sector.
The project ends in September 2005.
